We have a room becoming available early–mid April in our warm and welcoming home, and we’re looking for one more awesome person to join our flat family, bringing us to eight people in total.
We’re a Christian flat that values real laughs, good fun, and great conversations. Our household is super friendly and bubbly, and we enjoy spending time together... whether that’s binging shows, playing video games in the lounge, or having good chats about life.
Our home is especially cosy in the winter thanks to our wood fire, which keeps the house nice and warm. Outside, we’re lucky to have a massive yard, including a beautiful spot with a hammock in the trees, perfect for relaxing on sunny days.
We also have a flat cat named Midge, who is very much part of the household.
Location:
- About an 8-minute drive from UC
- Parking available on the property
House details:
- 7 flatmates currently (ages range from 20s to mid-30s)
- 2 toilets and 1 shower (everyone’s schedules are different, so waiting for the shower has never been an issue)
- Single room available (best suited for one person)
Costs:
- Water, internet, and power are included in the rent for most of the year
- During the winter months, heating increases the power bill slightly, which usually works out to about $10 extra per week each
