We are three Christian girls, a student and 2 young profs 20s to early 30s. Our lovely flatmate is moving to Hamilton, and we will have a room available from the 7th September.
The available room is EITHER: Large ground floor bedroom with wardrobe and ensuite bathroom (brown duvet) - Rent: $230/week (+$10 per week shared flat expenses) OR Upstairs medium sunny bedroom with wardrobe and shared bathroom (red duvet) - Rent: $215 per week (+$10 per week shared flat expenses).
Our flat is a large two storey house nestled in the Western end of Johnsonville. It has a nice big lounge with separate kitchen and dining room spaces, as well as a lovely front yard and backyard with room for veggie and herb gardening. For those chilly Wellington winters, we have three heat pumps around the house to keep it toasty and warm. The house is furnished with plenty of storage space, and includes a double dishwasher, fridge, washing machine, and dryer. Room for 2 cars on the driveway (first in, first served) and plenty of free on-street parking.
We're a quiet flat, but love an occasional board games night or hangout. We cook individually, but have communal pantry items like seasonings, sauces, oil, and baking staples. In the area:
2 minute walk to the bus stop that goes directly into central Wellington
20 minute walk (or 3 minute drive) to Johnsonville central (2 Woolworths, Jville library, and Jville train station)
