We're a supportive Christian flat literally 300m from Canterbury Uni! We have one room available in our sleepout block and one in the main house, with a new bed and a second hand desk + drawers if needed for each. Each room is about 3x4m. Bus stops are 5 mins walk and Westfield/supermarkets are 15 mins walk away.
One room will be available from the end of September2026 and another from the beginning of January 2027.
Facilities and costs?
Power and Internet is $25/w, and shared meals are $35/w if opted in. The place was renovated recently and is warm, homely, and has great facilities. We have 5 bathrooms, and a duties roster to keep shared spaces clean.
Who are we?
My wife and I used to work in university ministry, and we now manage the place as head tenants. We have a big heart to see young Christians find their feet in flatting and grow in their faith at their own pace. We currently share the home alongside four in undergrad and three working. We go to a bunch of different churches, including Grace Presbyterian, Campus Church, the Reformed Church and Trinity Anglican. Shared movies, board games and faith chats happen pretty often, although there's no expectation to join in :)
