We’re a relaxed, social flat of young professionals in Palmerston North, looking for a female flatmate to help balance our current 1/3 F/M split.
We have a cozy room and house with a warm, comfortable feel with a big kitchen, two lounges, with plenty of space outdoors too.
We enjoy the occasional flat activity, and weekly shared meals.
The room-
A respectable (~3 x 3.5m) sized, yet very cozy and warm room with external access and views into the garden area. Wheelchair accessible (as are the bathroom, kitchen, and living areas).
The flat-
Occasional flat shenanigans- movies, board games or video games
We each cook one shared meal for the flat per week (no pressure to be a chef—just willing to give it a go). So everyone gets dinner organised us 4 nights a week!
We’re not a party flat—no drugs and minimal alcohol—so it’s a good fit if you prefer a more grounded environment.
There’s also a backyard loaded with fruit trees and garden beds if you’d like a plot.
About us-
We’re 4 Christian young adults (21–26), all recent grads starting out in different career paths.
Some interests amongst us include hiking, painting, reading and gardening. Overall we are easygoing, respectful, and generally up for a chat, a game, or doing our own thing.
We’re ideally looking for someone who-
Is of similar age and stage (eg early career or a few years into study/apprenticeship)
Is reasonably social
Would enjoy shared meals and sporadic flat activities
Young professionals or full-time / postgrad students are likely be a great fit.
