Our daughter is starting a BSc next year as an adult student (21), and there are three double rooms available for rent. Quiet housemates preferred.
The rooms can be furnished or unfurnished. Currently, they are equipped with queen or double-sized beds.
The house is fully furnished, and the kitchen is equipped.
The address is 122 Harewood Road, Papanui. The house has two bathrooms and three toilets.
It is on the Orbiter bus route, very close to Northlands mall and Langdons Rd shopping centre.
There are 4 car parks and an electric car charging port.
The house also has solar panels, so the power in spring, summer and autumn is quite cheap.
The internet will be included in the room price.
Lawns and gardens will be taken care of by the landlord, and a cleaner comes fortnightly. This is included in the room rate.
It is healthy homes compliant, with double glazing, wall, ceiling and floor insulation, and it has three types of heating:
1. A compliant fire
2. Heat pumps
3. Under-floor heating downstairs in the living areas
4. Wall heaters in the upstairs bedrooms
Pets by arrangement (but no dogs - our daughter has a cat and the property is not fully fenced)
The landlord will retain one bedroom for occasional use when visiting Christchurch.
There is a single detached garage for bikes etc.
