Are you looking for a place to call home long term?  Are you someone who is happy to do their bit around the house to keep the place feeling like a home?  

We are 3 guys, all over 35, looking for the right person to call this place home with us.  Two of us have been here for over 10 years each, and I (James) am the noob.  I will be the only Christian in the place when our current flatmate moves out, but I found it in CANZ just like you are now except 2.5 years ago.  I go to Urban Vineyard Church on Great North Road Grey Lynn.  I am part of the preaching team and music ministry team there.  The current other Christian flatmate who has been here for at least 8 years is moving into his own house, so it takes a lot for one of us to want to go.   

Culturally, we tend to enjoy our own spaces.  This is an introvert friendly flat.  I am an extrovert, but a little less so than when I was younger.  When we are in the same room we do chat and sometimes even deeply.  But for the most part the place is reasonably quiet.  If you are a very light sleeper then you might have some problems, but for most people it is quiet enough.  I am the noisiest and am known to invite friends around to watch a movie on the entertainment system or hand around for a few hours in the weekend.  I like listening to music on the same system in the living room but am considerate with other people’s use of the space, as are we all. 

Parking is available on the street.  Plenty of storage in the garage.  Rent is $220 a week paid fortnightly in advance.  Bond is equivalent to 2 weeks rent.  So a full move in cost would be $880.   The Room is available from November 1st although if you want to move in earlier we can talk about that.  Average bills per.month are around $120 to $130. This fluctuates down to $90 in the hot months to maybe $150 in colder months. It includes power, internet, and gas as well as common flat expenses like cleaning products and toilet paper.
