The current flatmates are 3 guys: two single full-time workers, and one student in his final year at Massey. There's also a 10 year old cat who keeps an eye on the place when we're out. We're all friendly but mostly do our own thing. (Especially the cat!)
The house has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, separate toilet, separate laundry room, plus the usual lounge and kitchen. There's a detached garage with room to store a few things, plus a sleep-out at the back which is the 4th bedroom. All of this on a fairly large section with some mature trees, a raised vege garden, and plenty of parking space.
We're on a quiet street with good neighbours, relatively close to the edge of town. It's walking distance to the new Woolworths/Countdown, and only a 5 minute drive or 10 minute bike ride to The Square. Also not too far from the river walk and dog park.
The room that'll be available is the largest in the house at approximately 3.2 x 3.3 m. It'll definitely fit a queen-size bed and should also fit a king-size. It has a large built-in wardrobe and gets afternoon sun.
The house is fully furnished with a fridge, chest freezer, washing machine, TV, heat pump, microwave etc. The bedroom is unfurnished.
Like I said, we mostly do our own thing - that includes food. We do like to keep the place tidy, but chores are shared informally.
We're looking for somebody who's considerate, respectful, & friendly, and looking for a home for the foreseeable future.
Pet's are negotiable (the section is fully fenced), but must be well-behaved and get along with the existing cat.
